Meet Tim Tebow: He grew up playing every sport imaginable, but football was his true passion. Even from an early age, Tim has always had the drive to be the best player and person that he could be. Through his hard work and determination, he established himself as one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of college football and as a top prospect in the NFL. Now, in Through My Eyes: A Quarterback's Journey, he shares the behind-the-scenes details of his life, on and off the football field. Tim writes about his life as he chooses to live it, revealing how his Christian faith, his family values, and his relentless will to succeed have molded him into the person and the athlete he is today. My brother received this book for his birthday and he's finally finished it! Yay! Go Nate! And when he started it I had this idea that onece he finished it I would interview him on what he thought of it and post it on here. So these are my 13-year-old brother Nathan's thoughts about this book! (I had to work a little bit to get some of these answers out of him! :-P)
Me: Do you think this book gave you a good understanding of Tim Tebow and his life?
Nate: Yes.
Me: Do you have a favorite personal story that Tim shared in this book?
Nate: Yes. My favorite story would have to be how his older brother kept on getting hurt (said with a grin).
Me: Did you find his attitude about winning or losing a game surprising in any way?
Nate: Yes. I did not expect him to cry when he won or lost!
Me: Is there anything you value or look up to about Tim Tebow?
Nate: He is a very good football player, he prays before and after each game, and he used to put a verse in his eye black.
Me: Where there things about Tim's life that surprised you?
Nate: Yes. He was a missionary kid, that he was the youngest in his family, and while he was in the Philippines he spoke at schools.
Me: Would you recommend this book to anyone you know?
Nate: Yes, I would.
Me: What are your overall thoughts on this book?
Nate: It's a good book and anyone who likes football or Tim Tebow should definitely read it.
So there you have it! Straight from the moth of my not-so-little brother! Thanks for reading!
